Job Summary

Lead critical work streams within the Turnaround & Restructuring practice, helping management stabilize companies facing complex financial and operational challenges. Drive financial analysis, build integrated cash-flow and restructuring models, develop and execute restructuring plans, and prepare board- and investor-ready presentations. Collaborate across legal, operations, and corporate finance while supporting negotiations with creditors and other stakeholders. Also contribute to business development through client interactions and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

•Organize project work streams, achieve engagement objectives, and support business development activities.
•Analyze financial statements, operational data, and liquidity positions to assess financial health.
•Develop integrated financial models, including cash-flow forecasts, restructuring scenarios, and recovery analyses.
•Develop and execute restructuring plans such as debt restructuring, refinancing, cost optimization, and liquidity improvement initiatives.
•Prepare stakeholder presentations and reports and support negotiations with creditors, banks, investors, and other external parties.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience in financial restructuring with strong knowledge of financial analysis, corporate finance, and restructuring concepts.
•A degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering, and/or a financial qualification such as CFA, ACA, or ACCA.
•Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling, projections, and valuation theory applied to restructuring solutions.
•Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders as part of transformation or restructuring engagements.
•Fluency in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication and leadership presence.
