Job Summary

Drive footwear product development and commercialization for assigned projects/categories, partnering with Tier 1 factory teams and internal technical stakeholders. Ensure smooth transition from design into samples and production by meeting manufacturability, material standards, timelines, and cost-to-target goals. Manage continuous upgrades to technical applications and processes, supervise development between HQ/creation centers and factories, and ensure compliance with adidas Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the development and commercialization process for assigned footwear products with Tier 1 factory personnel and technical teams.
•Provide technical expertise to transition design into samples and production, ensuring manufacturability, material selection/standards, timelines, and cost-to-target are met.
•Manage continuous upgrades to technical applications/processes and implement new technology in development and engineering.
•Supervise direct development between HQ/creation center and Tier 1 factory to maintain the Create to Value approach and product integrity.
•Influence HQ and external factory teams, resolve conflicts using adidas standards, make day-to-day decisions within scope, and ensure Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy compliance.

Key Requirements

•University degree in engineering or related areas.
•5+ years of relevant business experience.
•Knowledge of product creation/pattern engineering, mold making, grading, and materials processing.
•Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, product testing/evaluation, and material types.
•Ability to read shell patterns and 2D/3D blueprints and interpret BOM/CBD/FCT; strong costing understanding.
