Key Responsibilities

•Implement new security features for the 1Password iOS and core hybrid applications and develop secure libraries to share common security-critical code.
•Demonstrate leadership in security development and act as a trusted point of contact for management and other developers.
•Collaborate with multiple teams across the hybrid core architecture to influence system design and strengthen security posture.
•Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and engage in pair programming to raise overall code quality.
•Review code and support creating a safe environment for giving and receiving feedback while staying current on security trends

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software development experience with a security angle, including modern encryption techniques and authentication protocols
•3+ years hands-on experience with iOS and Apple security development
•3+ years hands-on experience with Rust development and creating FFI interfaces; willingness to learn Go or TypeScript
•Familiarity with Secure Enclave and HSM functionality (biometric security, Secure boot, code signing, memory protection)
•Strong understanding of security domain topics (cryptography, network security, application security, access control) and excellent communication skills
