Job Summary

Support cost management and project controls for energy projects, focusing on invoice processing, cost administration, and financial reporting. Maintain cost control systems to track budgets, commitments, actuals, and forecasts; reconcile supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies; support CBS/WBS structures, PO/WO setup, accruals, month-end reporting, and change control inputs. Partner with project controls, planning, commercial, finance, and procurement teams to keep cost information accurate and up to date while ensuring contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the implementation and maintenance of cost control systems and processes to track project budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts.
•Process, validate, and reconcile supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with project and contractual requirements.
•Assist in creating and maintaining Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) aligned to project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
•Support the setup and management of Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and requisitions for accurate cost capture and reporting.
•Maintain cost records and support accruals and month-end reporting, including contributions to forecast updates and change control inputs.

Key Requirements

•Interest in building a career in cost engineering, project controls, or project finance with exposure to invoice processing or financial administration.
•Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, comfortable working with financial data in a project environment.
•Experience or knowledge of invoice processing, accounts payable, cost administration, or financial controls.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
