Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients according to Manheim inspection standards.
  • •Safely locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer lots while verifying VINs, mileage, and options.
  • •Inspect and document exterior and interior condition, identify damage or missing components, and perform basic mechanical checks.
  • •Build trust with dealer clients and proactively engage to increase inspection volume while managing assigned schedules across locations.
  • •Prepare daily activity/production reports, use Salesforce.com for reporting and tracking, and collaborate with other Manheim teams in a Lean environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required (all levels accept applicants meeting the stated level requirements).
  • •Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
  • •Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.
  • •Mobile Inspector Level 2 and Senior Level require increasing related automotive experience (Level 2: 3+ years; Senior: 5+ years and previous vehicle inspection experience).
  • •Strong attention to detail to accurately document vehicle identification, condition, and data in inspection systems.
