Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop specialized knowledge to make good routing calls quickly based on wind-field understanding and forecast uncertainty.
  • •Improve flight-control techniques beyond following procedures, iterating as the system and conditions change.
  • •Adapt operational decisions for uncertainty in forecasts and time-delayed command execution.
  • •Handle balloon failures stemming from hardware issues, weather, or operational mistakes.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams to evolve flight operations as hardware and software evolve.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24 - 28 hourly
