Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership for strategic customer implementations of big data projects, including architectural and security design and deployment best practices.
  • •Architect production-level workloads, including end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
  • •Deliver cloud infrastructure and security expertise for the Databricks Intelligence Platform, covering networking, IAM, and security patterns.
  • •Support Solution Architects on advanced technical sales work such as custom proof of concept content, workload sizing, and custom architectures.
  • •Drive community adoption through tutorials, training, hackathons, and conference presentations; act as a technical SME.

Key Requirements

  • •Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across industry markets.
  • •Experience as a data platform engineer designing, setting up, and maintaining production-grade big data systems (Spark).
  • •Hands-on experience designing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with security and networking best practices.
  • •Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform or ARM/CloudFormation).
  • •Production programming experience in one or more of: Python, Scala, SQL, or R, plus a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
