Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete daily safety assignments such as area inspections, pre-shifts, and JSA’s.
  • •Signal concrete delivery, move discharge chutes, spread concrete in forms, and level/screed to specified depth and consistency.
  • •Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, straightedges, floats, power screeds, and power trowels.
  • •Repair rough/defective concrete spots by grinding or chiseling and patching with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
  • •Support construction operations including measuring from grade stakes, signaling equipment, directing traffic flow, and assisting with traffic control setup and cleanup.
