Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract experienced wealth advisors, business development professionals, and advisory teams.
  • •Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates aligned to business growth objectives, managing the full recruiting lifecycle through hire and transition.
  • •Develop and oversee standardized advisor onboarding programs, coordinating cross-functional support to ensure smooth transitions and improving effectiveness.
  • •Design and implement advisor development and retention initiatives, including succession planning and career pathing.
  • •Partner with executive leadership to pursue advisor/team/firm acquisition opportunities and support due diligence, transition planning, and integration.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in wealth management, talent acquisition, recruiting, talent strategy, or related financial services.
  • •Demonstrated success recruiting experienced financial advisors, advisory teams, or revenue-producing professionals with transferable books of business.
  • •Strong knowledge of the wealth management industry, including bank wealth management platforms, RIAs, broker-dealers, and competitive recruiting practices.
  • •Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level professionals and executive stakeholders.
  • •Experience leading advisor onboarding, transition management, integration, or talent development initiatives preferred; must be able to travel throughout the Tompkins footprint.
