Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
  • •Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR depends on, correlating across real environments using first-party and third-party sources.
  • •Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, including prioritization using exploitability and reachability and remediation workflows.
  • •Write requirements engineering can implement without repeated clarification, translating customer input and Elastic Security Labs threat research into product.
  • •Ensure capabilities work across Elastic deployment models, from cloud to on-premises to air-gapped environments, and represent product in customer conversations.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, plus a minimum of 3 years in related product development or a technical field.
  • •Experience owning product areas from requirements through shipped, iterated outcomes.
  • •Hands-on domain knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics (as a product manager or practitioner like SOC analyst, detection engineer, or incident responder).
  • •Comfort building/owning products that depend on heterogeneous third-party telemetry (EDR, cloud, identity, network sources) for correlation across real environments.
  • •BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
