Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and act as senior subject matter expert for instrumentation and control systems for mining and heavy industrial facilities.
•Oversee control philosophy, system architecture, and functional specifications for complex process systems.
•Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams for fully integrated project solutions.
•Drive innovation by applying advanced automation, digitalization, and control technologies.
•Support project execution through all phases—from concept to commissioning and operational optimization, including client-facing needs and compliance with safety/regulatory/quality standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 123,300 - 169,800 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 18+ years of electrical engineering design experience supporting heavy industrial facilities.
•Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility in Canada.
•Extensive experience leading and delivering instrumentation and controls engineering in mining or heavy industrial sectors.
•Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, SCADA systems, and process automation platforms.
