Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the O&M technicians and the plant Operations team, providing regular feedback, coaching, and annual performance reviews.
  • •Coordinate with O&M Manager–Maintenance to execute outages with minimum downtime and cost control.
  • •Develop, refine, and administer plant operating and maintenance procedures; manage housekeeping standards.
  • •Administer operating budgets (non-fuel cost of sales) and support capital budgets, including originating capital expenditure authorizations.
  • •Collect, analyze, and correlate performance data to improve plant performance (including plant heat rate) and act as project manager for approved improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in engineering or a related discipline (work experience may be considered in lieu of education).
  • •Minimum five years of supervisory experience in power generation (preferred combined cycle background or similar continuous process environment).
  • •Experience with regulatory compliance in a continuous process environment.
  • •Proficiency with computer hardware and applicable software; ability to create and track plant budgets using CMMS and other tools.
  • •Ability to perform physical requirements including climbing ladders/stairs and conducting comprehensive site inspections; must pass pre-employment drug testing and background screens.
