Key Responsibilities

  • •Own solution security architecture and design for SOC solutions from conceptualisation through deployment and operation.
  • •Lead security aspects of SOC engineering delivery, ensuring designs meet functional and non-functional security requirements.
  • •Support engineering leadership/management for SOC solution delivery across the engineering lifecycle.
  • •Contribute to SOC architecture development across services, people, policy/process, technology, and physical layers in collaboration with other design teams.
  • •Design and support SOC security tools such as Splunk and Sentinel SIEM, Nessus vulnerability management, Microsoft XDR, and related technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead and shape SOC solution security architecture across services, people, policy/process, technology and physical infrastructure layers.
  • •Engage with client stakeholders to understand and/or define security requirements, including accreditation needs.
  • •Provide engineering leadership and management for the delivery of SOC security aspects across the engineering lifecycle from concept to transition into service operation.
  • •Have design/build/deployment knowledge of SOC technologies including at least two of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence.
  • •Demonstrate cybersecurity fundamentals including common threats, risk assessment, vulnerability management, least privilege, and encryption; familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachmann.
