Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions across tennis, pickleball, table tennis and other racquet sports as required.
  • •Plan and deliver progressive coaching programmes that support skill development and physical literacy.
  • •Create a fun, safe and inclusive environment for children to learn, grow and enjoy sport.
  • •Adapt coaching activities to different ages, abilities and individual needs, and provide constructive feedback on progress.
  • •Maintain high safeguarding, health and safety, and participant wellbeing standards at all times.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a recognised National Governing Body coaching qualification in at least one racquet sport (or be working towards).
  • •Have experience coaching children and young people.
  • •Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Understand safeguarding principles, child protection practices, and health and safety requirements.
  • •Hold a current Emergency First Aid qualification or be willing to obtain one.
