Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support to account teams and act as a trusted advisor to identify opportunities and gather requirements.
  • •Conduct product presentations covering Arista Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including Wi‑Fi) solutions and related software capabilities (e.g., CloudVision, security, and monitoring).
  • •Perform network architectural reviews, identify pain points, and recommend improvement plans and integration approaches.
  • •Architect, design, and propose Arista data center and campus network solutions using Arista best practices, including POC engagement and functional/failure testing.
  • •Collaborate with account managers and Sales to support RFP/RFQs and represent Arista at industry events; provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/CS/CE technical degree required.
  • •5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focused on Data Center, Campus, and Wi‑Fi solutions.
  • •Expert routing and switching experience with L2/L3 protocols; recent experience with leaf-spine architecture design.
  • •Expert knowledge of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, Multicast, and QoS.
  • •Demonstrated pre-sales or consulting experience (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer) preferred; Network Industry Certification preferred (ACE L5/7, CCIE R&S, JNCIE).
