Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and operate AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL) in a high-load production environment.
  • •Design and evolve schemas for large transactional domains and implement partitioning and advanced indexing.
  • •Optimize query performance by tuning execution plans, addressing slow queries, and resolving lock contention, vacuum issues, and connection pool saturation.
  • •Build high-performance internal search solutions and support analytics/log pipelines to deliver fast real-time insights using Tinybird/ClickHouse.
  • •Ensure reliability through health metrics, safe schema migrations on large tables, backups, replication, disaster recovery, and incident analysis.

Key Requirements
