Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Captain with flight preparation, navigation, and operational execution while following Etihad procedures and regulatory standards.
  • •Continuously conduct independent checks of aircraft position, terrain, and weather to support safe navigation.
  • •Provide clear communication, advice, and support to the Captain to enable safe and efficient decision-making.
  • •Maintain high standards of discipline, conduct, and personal appearance, representing Etihad professionally.

Key Requirements

  • •Unrestricted ATPL or valid frozen ATPL issued by an ICAO member state.
  • •Current Class 1 medical and must not have attained age 50 on the day of joining.
  • •English language fluency (written and verbal) at ICAO Level 4 or better.
  • •Flown an A320 family aircraft within the last 12 months, with an A320 type rating valid for at least 2 more months at joining.
  • •Meet A320 First Officer time requirements: either (Criteria A) 2,000 total hours with 1,500 on multi-crew glass cockpit MPA and 500 on type, or (Criteria B) 1,500 total hours with 1,000 on any A320 family aircraft.
