Job Summary

Support the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily operations on heavy highway and construction projects. Help ensure safe, efficient work aligned to schedules, specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements across areas like highways, bridges, utilities, earthwork, drainage, and paving. Serve as a key liaison among field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project management while tracking progress, addressing quality and safety issues, and supporting jobsite operations and closeout.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction activities and project execution.
•Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet production goals.
•Support planning and implementation of weekly and daily work plans while monitoring progress and schedule impacts.
•Promote and enforce company safety policies, conducting daily safety briefings/toolbox talks and supporting safety inspections.
•Ensure work follows plans, specifications, contract requirements, and project quality standards while communicating updates and addressing issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 85,000 annually

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
•Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
•Knowledge of roadway, bridge, asphalt paving, grading, drainage, and utility construction preferred.
•Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project schedules.
