Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Design Lead and primary engineering liaison to the Customer Integrated Product Team (CIPT), driving design execution and schedule adherence.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional design activities to ensure timely technical deliverables and proactively manage design risks.
  • •Serve as focal point for major technical issues within the CIPT, collaborating with IPMT, SIPT, Chief Engineers, and customers to communicate progress and mitigate risks.
  • •Identify, plan, and execute cross-functional tasks, including managing medium-scale projects, and disposition customer fleet issues with urgency.
  • •Mentor and coach engineers, contribute to Engineering Knowledge System (EKS) content, and support engine builds, teardowns, and Engine Centers/MRO sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) and 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Proven mechanical design engineering experience delivering successful projects, including system-level awareness and analysis.
  • •Proven track record mentoring engineers and providing strategic technical guidance to elevate performance and accelerate skill development.
  • •Experience with design or modeling of bearings, carbon seals, complex castings, machinings, and forgings.
  • •Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar) and strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
