Job Summary

Perform and support Offset/Offline operations within the Press Room, Folder/Gluer, and Material Handling areas. Receive, stack, label, and verify product for accuracy and quality, assist during downtime, and execute make-ready and changeover tasks for components and print settings. Follow OHSE and hazardous waste procedures, support Press Crew goals, and perform forklift duties when applicable, including safe material handling and inspections.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive product from the press, stack and palletize items, and print pallet labels with Pecas while using job docket and setup sheet information.
•Ensure correct loading onto pallets for material handling and verify job quality and accuracy, including informing operators of problems.
•Execute downtime support activities and perform press area cleanup, including filling solvent/varnish tanks and assisting with setup changes.
•Perform make-ready tasks such as purging stacks, changing impression rollers, installing/updating print unit components, and handling inks/solvents and cylinders/pumps.
•Follow OHSE and hazardous materials/waste handling procedures; support Press Crew goals and assist with forklift operation and material movement when applicable.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED), plus one to three years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Very good mechanical and physical ability.
•Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
•Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
•Ability to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary.
