Job Summary

Lead Snowflake’s technical revenue accounting function as the authority on complex revenue transactions. Partner across Product, Legal, Deal Desk, Finance, and Go-to-Market to structure customer agreements and ensure compliance with ASC 606. Own contract reviews for SaaS and complex commercial models, support NPI guidance, advise executives on revenue implications, drive process automation using AI, and lead month-end close and team development.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as technical accounting authority for complex revenue transactions, providing guidance for new products, partnerships, and evolving commercial models.
•Review and assess complex customer contracts across SaaS, professional services, managed services, multi-element arrangements, and consumption-based pricing.
•Partner with Legal, Deal Desk, and Sales to translate ASC 606 guidance into actionable commercial options for complex negotiations.
•Prepare technical account memoranda, research emerging accounting guidance, and lead ASC 606 support for New Product Offerings (NPI).
•Support month-end close, drive revenue process improvement and system implementation (including automation using AI), and lead/develop the revenue accounting team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 262,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
•10+ years of progressive experience, including public accounting and publicly traded SaaS or technology companies.
•Deep expertise in ASC 606 and technical accounting for complex software/SaaS business models.
•Experience supporting complex customer contracts, including nonstandard arrangements and consumption-based revenue models.
•Experience with SFDC, Workday, and revenue accounting systems.
