Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor a Structures design team, providing direction, motivation, coaching, and delegation to increase technical competence.
  • •Coordinate structural deliverables with other disciplines to avoid design gaps and support construction supervision teams.
  • •Technically lead project aspects, supporting Project Managers and delivering within scope, budget, timeframe, and quality standards.
  • •Prepare and take responsibility for structural design and drawings; use BIM tools (Autodesk Revit) and listed analysis/design programmes for design development and review.
  • •Interface with clients on schedules and issues, anticipate delays, perform technical reviews/audits, and ensure HSE compliance in structural documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural), preferably M.Eng or MSc.Eng.
  • •At least 8 years’ experience post obtaining qualification.
  • •Professionally registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng. for at least 3 years.
  • •Ability to develop key client relationships and support technical input for bids and proposals.
  • •Working knowledge of structural design and BIM workflows, including coordination of structural drawings using Autodesk Revit and other listed design programmes.
