Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete safely and efficiently to industrial and residential construction projects, company facilities, and customers. Operate ready mix trucks in accordance with DOT and company requirements, including daily pre/post trip inspections, gauge monitoring, mileage log keeping, and adherence to dispatch instructions. Load/unload materials, perform minor maintenance, and maintain a clean, orderly vehicle while ensuring product quality and reliable attendance.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, and customers safely and efficiently.
•Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with proper documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload materials and monitor vehicle gauges during operation.
•Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and obey dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance, keep the vehicle clean, and maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•2+ years of experience driving a mixer truck preferred.
•Valid driver’s license with a current CDL A or CDL B; air brake endorsement required (hazmat/tanker endorsements possible).
•Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check; maintain a valid DOT medical card.
•Read/write and perform basic math for time/material records; follow verbal and written instructions and safety procedures.
