Job Summary

Develop and apply novel ML frameworks and methodologies for designing and evaluating turbine components within Hot Section Engineering. Build, test, deploy, and monitor ML models supporting physics-based simulations, fleet analytics, and component design. Communicate technical insights to customers and leadership, and collaborate with other RTX AI/ML teams to strengthen corporate initiatives and infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
•2+ years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 1+ years of experience.
•Knowledge of state-of-the-art ML architectures, techniques, and algorithms, including experience with major deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, JAX).
•Experience applying machine learning to real-world problems involving scientific and engineering simulations (e.g., structural, CFD, thermal).
•Strong Python programming skills and SQL proficiency.
