Job Summary

Provide advanced technical support for complex Software Defined Radio (SDR) applications, resolving enterprise escalations and advising customers and internal teams with deep knowledge of USRP hardware and Open Source UHD. Partner with Sales to recommend support strategies, deliver technical insights across wireless research, SIGINT, electronic warfare, and radar, and coordinate critical issues with R&D while building organizational proficiency through training, documentation, and technical consulting.

Key Responsibilities

•Resolve technical issues for Enterprise and Strategic Tier customers focused on complex SDR applications.
•Serve as an advanced advisor with product and platform expertise to enable success of the global support organization and top tier accounts.
•Resolve USRP hardware and Open Source UHD software escalations raised by technical stakeholders and less-tenured TSEs globally.
•Partner with Sales to recommend support strategy for targeted accounts and provide technical insights from customer applications.
•Build customer and department technical proficiency through training, technical consulting, technical assessments, and maintaining knowledge/documentation for self-service resolution.

Key Requirements

•Willing to work with aerospace and defense customers; this role will not be considered for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
•Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science required (preferred in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science).
•5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing technical role (or other relevant industry experience).
•Experience owning and advocating for customer issues, including troubleshooting and internal escalation when necessary.
•Advanced knowledge of USRP, SDR, and Open Source UHD software resources related to Ettus and NI USRP hardware/software.
