Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare spoil boards and manage when they are changed or replaced.
  • •Touch off tools and enter registration in the CNC control to machine programs to customer specifications safely.
  • •Change tools and collect tooling for safety, protecting employees and company assets.
  • •Use tool touch probes, calibration programs, and height gages to set machine tools for tool changes and cutting processes.
  • •Check processed lumber to ensure it meets job specifications, maintain safe/clean work areas, complete pre-shift inspections, and maintain production records.
