Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive process and chemistry pathfinding for the NAND Process Technology Roadmap.
  • •Coordinate pathfinding activities with partner organizations and TD fabs and align PD resource allocation.
  • •Own critical taskforces and lead multi-functional teams to improve new tech node yield and device roadmap improvements.
  • •Mentor engineers via structured development, build SME pipelines, and publish internal papers/BKMs presented to senior leadership.
  • •Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with organizational standards.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with 12+ years, or Master’s with 15+ years, in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Strong understanding of process technology development business processes/strategy, surface science, analytic methods for material properties, and rational risk assessment.
  • •Deep knowledge of wet process technologies such as vapor etch, wet strip, dry strip, and selective chemical etching.
  • •Familiarity with electrical evaluation methods and fab metrology tools such as CD-SEM, thickness measurement, and particle counters.
  • •Experience using DOE/SPC and data analysis systems (e.g., Y3) and working knowledge of memory process flow in planar + vertical NAND contexts.
