Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, define, and drive AI/ML opportunities across the physical design flow (synthesis, place & route, full-chip planning, timing closure, and low-power implementation) to improve design quality, productivity, and time-to-market.
  • •Lead development, validation, and deployment of AI-powered CAD solutions to address complex design challenges, optimize PPA, and enhance engineering efficiency across IP and SoC programs.
  • •Partner with physical design, IP, SoC, and architecture teams to understand workflows, identify bottlenecks, gather requirements, and translate needs into scalable automation and AI-based methodologies.
  • •Collaborate with global CAD teams to establish a unified AI strategy and drive consistent deployment of AI solutions across multiple projects and locations.
  • •Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for AI infrastructure, data pipelines, model development, and workflow integration supporting physical design activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CNY 682,360 - 974,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in semiconductor design methodology, CAD, or physical design, with expertise in domains such as synthesis, place & route, timing closure, floorplanning, or low-power design.
  • •Proven ability to drive RTL-to-GDSII implementation flows and resolve complex design challenges involving performance, power, area (PPA), runtime, scalability, and design convergence.
  • •Hands-on experience applying AI/ML, including large language models (LLMs) or agent-based systems, to EDA/design automation or engineering productivity improvements.
  • •Strong programming and automation skills in languages such as Python, Tcl, and Shell, with a track record of production-quality CAD solutions.
  • •Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
