Key Responsibilities

•Help prospects understand if their application is suitable for Temporal and guide them through evaluating fit.
•Explain technical benefits and drawbacks of Temporal’s platform and cloud service to customers and prospects.
•Position Temporal against alternative technologies or patterns in discussions with customer teams.
•Create conditions within customer engineering organizations to expand production applications using Temporal.
•Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute an overall account plan and manage the technical relationship with key decision-makers.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in a customer-facing technical leadership role (solutions architect, pre-sales engineer, or similar) within enterprise environments.
•Ability to articulate complex distributed system concepts and design patterns to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Hands-on experience with one or more Temporal-supported languages (Java, Golang, Typescript, Python, PHP) and understanding of deployment, security, reliability, and cost considerations in production.
•Comfort working with major cloud providers and their services used for application development and production.
•Ability to collaborate with Account Executives to scope, size, and qualify opportunities and influence customer technical decisions.
