Job Summary

Support the Operational Risk Management (ORM) program elements across enterprise service functions including Finance, HR, and Legal. Serve as a second-line advisor to help the first line of defense identify, mitigate, resolve, and report/escalate operational risks and issues. Provide day-to-day expertise on regulations, rules, and industry standards, contribute to oversight strategy and risk framework implementation, analyze risk trends, and ensure effective control and exam outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with management, Risk, and Legal to identify, mitigate, resolve, and report/escalate existing, emerging, and upstream risks and issues.
•Provide day-to-day operational risk leadership support on implementation of regulations, rules, procedures, guidelines, and industry best practices.
•Deliver regulatory expertise and solutions for complex risk and compliance issues based on business activities and products.
•Support risk division oversight strategy to build and communicate a comprehensive view of risk management and provide credible challenge as a second line function.
•Research and analyze risk trends and benchmarking; monitor upstream risks and ensure effective risk mitigation culture and exam outcomes.

Salary: USD 91,000 - 121,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-6 years of relevant experience in banking/financial services with compliance, front-line risk, operational risk, internal audit, and/or regulatory agency work.
•Operational Risk Management (or related business line) experience, including Issues Management and Control Assessment.
•Knowledge of regulatory guidance pertaining to enterprise and operational risk.
•Familiarity with Governance Risk and Control (GRC) tools (Archer preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Risk Management, Finance, Economics (or equivalent work experience).
