Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate AI-driven development lifecycle (AI-DLC) direction into an executable multi-year plan, defining human-in-the-loop stages and execution priorities.
  • •Evaluate, select, and roll out AI developer tools while building internal scaffolding (context, MCP servers, evals, guardrails) and running rigorous LLM/agent evaluation practice.
  • •Own governance with Security, Legal, and Platform around acceptable use, code provenance and licensing, secrets/data handling, and audit trails for AI-generated changes.
  • •Build and run cloud-based agentic development infrastructure: on-demand reproducible isolated workspaces, concurrency/safety controls, orchestration/control plane, observability, and unit economics.
  • •Own developer experience and developer infrastructure (golden paths, onboarding, build/CI/CD/release pipelines), improve DORA/velocity metrics, and lead a multi-team org across time zones.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in software engineering with 6+ years leading engineering teams, including 2+ years as a manager of managers (Director/Senior Manager of Managers or equivalent scope).
  • •Deep DevOps and infrastructure experience across CI/CD, build systems, containers and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • •Demonstrated ownership of developer productivity, developer platform, or developer infrastructure at meaningful scale with measurable velocity outcomes.
  • •Hands-on experience with modern AI developer tooling and strong judgment on where agentic development helps versus where it does not.
  • •Experience building or operating cloud-based development/execution environments, including security and cost controls, plus practical understanding of LLM evaluation.
