Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and providing ongoing service.
  • •Establish and update client financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, and work with investment advisors to support investment and asset allocation objectives.
  • •Monitor changing economic, legal, and financial planning and investment trends, and act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs and attorneys.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients and expanding services; support sales management, maintain sales activity/pipeline in the bank contact management system, and use referral processes.
  • •Coordinate with internal IRM partners and external centers of influence to provide an integrated client experience and support business development while working within compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience with clients across banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts, plus understanding of retail credit and traditional retail bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Must have active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable active insurance licenses (Life, Health, and Variable), or obtain within 100–150 days; transfer active FINRA licenses within 60 days.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
