Job Summary

Lead and coach maintenance supervisors and craftsmen to achieve safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant department objectives. Direct maintenance activities to keep plant assets operating effectively while sustaining continuous production. Drive Reliability Focused Maintenance through continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and execution of the reliability roadmap. Ensure EHS compliance (including OSHA), coordinate with the union, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering while managing team performance, training, and procurement policy adherence.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, develop, and motivate supervisors and craftsmen to achieve department objectives in a safe and environmentally compliant manner.
•Direct maintenance activities to maintain plant assets effectively while sustaining continuous plant operations.
•Ensure safety is the top priority and maintain compliance with EHS requirements (OSHA, state, local, and company).
•Assess team performance and initiate or recommend training or other actions to address skill gaps.
•Drive Reliability Focused Maintenance by executing continuous improvement initiatives, tracking KPI’s, and managing reliability roadmap progress; coordinate with union and collaborate with Operations and Engineering.

Key Requirements

•5-7 years of progressively increasing leadership experience in maintenance or engineering within industrial, commercial, or military environments.
•Demonstrated knowledge of engineering and maintenance concepts, project management, reliability practices, and financial management for capital/expense spending.
•Experience with MRO and CMMS.
•2-year technical degree in a maintenance-related discipline, or related work experience (preferred).
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to develop direct reports and lead a team to success.
