Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team, creating a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • •Ensure compliance with HSE, LOTO, and food safety standards by championing safe engineering practices across the shift.
  • •Plan, prioritise, and coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • •Drive continuous improvement using TPM, RCA, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma; monitor engineering KPIs such as MTBF and MTTR.
  • •Ensure accurate use of SAP CMMS for maintenance reporting and data quality, while managing engineering resources, contractors, permits, RAMS, and shutdown activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience leading engineering maintenance teams in an FMCG, brewing, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong understanding of engineering maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventative maintenance best practices.
  • •Knowledge of engineering, quality, health & safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in a production environment.
  • •Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean/TPM and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • •Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, or able to demonstrate significant relevant leadership experience.
