Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate pre-season and mid-season sustainability training and meetings with the national sustainability team and the Regional Zero Waste Manager.
  • •Lead and onboard zero waste supervisors and coordinators, and provide venue-wide updates on progress and areas for improvement.
  • •Design and execute a venue zero waste plan, including goals, material flow mapping, and accountability tracking.
  • •Oversee recycling/composting/reuse/donation material sorting and ensure compliance and quality on show days and non-show days.
  • •Track and report key program metrics using Microsoft Office and shared storage tools, including weight tickets/chain of custody and post-season surveys.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 20 - 25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •At least 1 year in a leadership position in operations/event coordination, guest services and communications, event, or campus sustainability/zero waste events.
  • •Creative thinking and problem-solving ability for sustainability operations.
  • •Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • •Strong judgment, tact, diplomacy, teamwork, and time-management skills in an unstructured environment.
