Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure proper execution of the drilling/workover program and adapt plans as necessary based on downhole conditions.
  • •Manage safety and environmental compliance, enforce safety practices, and lead pre-job safety meetings (Toolbox Talks).
  • •Investigate, report incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • •Direct all well operations expediently, safely, and according to accepted industry practices as outlined and specified in the well Drilling or Workover program issued by the Drilling Engineering Department.
  • •Coordinate the timely ordering of required well materials, equipment, and services according to the well program.
  • •Document the receipt, usage, and transfer of Saudi Aramco-supplied materials and equipment.
  • •Review service company field tickets for accuracy of services provided and associated charges.
  • •Ensure that Saudi Aramco Blowout Prevention Standards are met in all aspects, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response.
  • •Ensure that rig and personnel comply with Saudi Aramco's established safety standards and procedures.
  • •Ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and equipment/personnel as specified in the contract on rigs contracted to Saudi Aramco.
  • •Provide management with a complete daily report of work progress as required in the Daily Morning Report.
  • •Promote cost-savings ideas and awareness with a view toward operational optimization consistent with safely meeting well objectives.
  • •Provide on-the-job training to less experienced drilling/workover personnel assigned to the rig.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor Degree in engineering in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Drilling and workover foreman position including 4 years of experience as a senior foreman
  • •Or you will have High School certificate with a minimum of 13 years of experience in Drilling and workover foreman position included 4 years as senior foreman
  • •You will be able to handle operational responsibilities on critical wells and demonstrate personnel attributes of sound judgment
  • •You hold a IADC WellSharp Level-4 well control certificates
