Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and evolve Mercury’s Infrastructure Platform to support the Engineering Organization.
  • •Deliver AI-friendly infrastructure that humans and agents can safely use and operate.
  • •Deliver infrastructure projects by breaking down complex initiatives and producing RFCs and technical specifications.
  • •Maintain core infrastructure components spanning networking and container orchestration.
  • •Debug production issues and partner with product teams to enable their AWS needs.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience with AWS.
  • •Strong interest in cloud-native open source technologies, including contributing code upstream.
  • •Strong low-level operating system fundamentals (Linux, file systems, containers).
  • •2+ years of experience creating detailed technical documentation, RFCs, and tech specs.
  • •2+ years of experience writing code and operating in large Terraform environments with scalable collaboration.
