Key Responsibilities

  • •Train for and complete the 8-week qualification period for cone line roles while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies.
  • •Perform assigned cone line station tasks such as machine feeding/testing, trimming/cutting, pulling breast meat, scoring/tender pulling, stabbing/deboning, and backup labor.
  • •Maintain product flow and supplies as a utility labor role, including filling in for various positions as needed.
  • •Inspect work as required by the role and follow standards (e.g., quality grading, trimming bones, avoiding damage/splitting).
  • •Maintain line speed, keep work areas clean, and comply with PPE and personal/food safety responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete an 6–8 week training/qualification period and meet all job requirements within that window.
  • •Perform physical demands including pushing, pulling, carrying, or lifting 50+ pounds, standing 8–10 hours, and working with arms above shoulder level.
  • •Use knives/scissors and follow procedures to maintain consistent line speed with repetitive motion.
  • •Work in damp cold or damp hot environments and be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
