Job Summary

Own the technical pre-sales relationship to help prospects and customers evaluate and adopt Algolia. Partner with Account Executives to demonstrate product architecture, address technical/business objections, and deliver consultative solutions that drive technical wins and clear product fit. Build prototypes and integrations using Algolia’s APIs, translate customer goals into KPIs, and advocate customer feedback to Product and Engineering while supporting seamless onboarding with Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical pre-sales across opportunities and accounts, demonstrating product and underlying architecture.
•Partner with Account Executives to address technical and business objections and deliver consultative solutions.
•Support the sales process, including discovery, demos, Proofs of Concept (POCs), RFP responses, and business justification.
•Develop custom search applications and prototypes/integrations using Algolia’s ecosystem tools and APIs.
•Relay customer interests, needs, and product feedback to Product and Engineering to improve customer success and onboarding.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 77,000 - 96,750 annually

Key Requirements

•Fluency in Italian and English.
•3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in SaaS.
•Previous software development experience using one or more of: JavaScript, TypeScript, React; Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.
•Experience developing or working with data formats and data transformation.
•Strong oral and written communication and the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities with attention to detail.
