Job Summary

Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist / Environmental Scientist needed to lead environmental compliance audits, Phase 1 site assessments, and ISO 14001 EMS program support for industrial clients in the Northeast. Will manage field operations, develop procedures and permits, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and project success across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct field assignments including environmental compliance audits, Phase 1 environmental site assessments, and environmental inspections.
•Provide environmental compliance program support for industrial clients by developing procedures and permits, preparing regulatory reports, and delivering environmental training programs.
•Develop ISO14001 EMS program support for industrial clients, including program development and auditing.
•Prepare written and verbal technical reports documenting audits, field investigations, regulatory research, data management, and data presentation.
•Manage projects according to client-approved scopes of work, delivering high-quality reports on time and within budget.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 89,000 - 146,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Environmental Policy, Engineering, Earth Science or related discipline.
•5+ years of experience working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
•5+ years of experience working knowledge of ISO 14001 EMS guidance.
•Must be able to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
•Experience with evaluating/maintaining environmental regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
