Key Responsibilities

  • •Support CT Siting Council applications, reporting requirements, and conditions.
  • •Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with permits and environmental requirements.
  • •Review engineering drawings, reports, plans, and permit applications; provide written comments on regulatory changes.
  • •Coordinate with regulators and stakeholders to maintain continuous permitting awareness, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •5–7 years of environmental compliance field experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in an environmental-related major.
  • •Knowledge/experience with local, state, and federal permits and regulations (including familiarity with CTDEEP permits and RBCRs).
  • •Experience with contaminated environmental media (such as soil and groundwater) and construction/remediation oversight.
  • •Excellent writing skills and strong understanding of regulatory affairs.
