Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement automated, containerized cloud application platforms covering networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert at the customer site to address technical, development, and strategic IT requirements.
  • •Lead end-to-end activities including problem identification, system architecture, software specification and design, implementation, testing, training, and deployment of enterprise open source solutions.
  • •Deliver quality on time and within scope for assigned projects, including maintaining project journals, status reports, and standard documentation.
  • •Support other consultants, associates, and partners in developing best practices and methods based on OpenShift and related technologies.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on development and deployment projects.
  • •Knowledge implementing and deploying container technologies in enterprise settings, including highly customized and air-gapped environments.
  • •Demonstrated experience with Platform-as-a-Service and container technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • •Demonstrated experience with Ansible and automation (Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform).
  • •Ability to code in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java) and to quickly learn new technologies.
