Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out fault finding, repairs, and defect rectification on electrical plant and equipment.
  • •Complete planned preventative maintenance activities in line with statutory and contractual requirements.
  • •Install new electrical plant, equipment, and associated systems as required.
  • •Inspect, test, and maintain electrical distribution systems, including low-voltage and high-voltage infrastructure where authorised and trained.
  • •Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation to support effective repairs and installations.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a City and Guilds Electrical Certificate or equivalent recognised electrical trade qualification.
  • •Have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
  • •Qualified to BS7671 (current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations).
  • •At least five years’ electrical trade experience following completion of your apprenticeship.
  • •Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a complex operational environment.
