Job Summary

Lead maintenance engineering activities to keep sophisticated production machinery and processing equipment running reliably. Implement inspection and maintenance processes, introduce new repair techniques, and respond to breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize manufacturing disruptions. Maintain maintenance records, ensure equipment calibration and compliance with production specifications, and manage/drive maintenance excellence practices. Coordinate across teams, lead meetings, and communicate professionally in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement inspection and maintenance processes to ensure optimal performance of sophisticated machinery and processing equipment.
•Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment to ensure reliable operation and compliance with process specifications.
•Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes.
•Implement and maintain an established maintenance program with detailed maintenance records to identify and address recurring issues.
•Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment and maintain tools and repair equipment in working order; lead meetings and communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
•Proficient in English.
•Experience in a senior leadership or managerial role.
•Experience implementing or managing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) (or similar maintenance excellence frameworks).
•Experience managing budgets, maintenance planning, or CAPEX projects for equipment upgrades or facility improvements.
