Job Summary

Support CarMax Auto Finance by analyzing credit bureau reporting and configuring the ARGO credit decisioning system. Leverage expertise in the Alfa environment to assess how system changes impact bureau reporting processes. Execute testing for releases, including automated regression testing, and design/validate ARGO configuration changes. Partner with upstream and downstream technology teams to ensure configurations work correctly across the CarMax Financing ecosystem.

•Analyze credit bureau reporting and ARGO configuration strategies to recommend and implement/test system changes.
•Use deep knowledge of the Alfa system to evaluate its role and impact on credit bureau reporting processes.
•Test system changes/releases and implement automated regression testing for credit bureau reporting components.
•Design, configure, test, and validate requested ARGO system changes for the Risk team.
•Partner with upstream and downstream technology teams to ensure ARGO configuration changes function properly across the CarMax Financing ecosystem.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 72,000 - 108,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required in an analytical, mathematical, or technical major (preferred).
•1–2 years of experience in an analytical role.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency with computers and database systems/software packages (e.g., Python, SQL, Excel, SAS).
•Preferred knowledge of coding concepts, test planning/execution (unit/regression), version control (GitHub), and SQL plus databases/data migration/scripting.
