Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up/commission new systems and perform diagnosis and repair of environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and provide service to assigned products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand onsite installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent, and typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls (technical school/formal training preferred).
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
  • •Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions) in the previous 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
  • •EPA preferred.
