Job Summary

Own supplier quality activities end-to-end: evaluate and approve new suppliers, execute manufacturing-quality documentation and analyses (e.g., APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, PV&V), and ensure critical-to-quality characteristics are clearly defined and maintained. Coordinate part submission warrant plans and line releases, support supplier improvement through CAPA and APQP guidance, and drive corrective actions by analyzing defects and reviewing supplier agreements—all to protect product quality during NPI projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate potential new suppliers through technical capability assessments to support supplier selection.
•Execute supplier quality methodologies (DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, SICR).
•Run and control APQP processes during NPI projects to maintain quality and timelines.
•Document supplier quality requirements in the Supplier Project Book and coordinate DfX collaboration between R&D and suppliers.
•Analyze defects, review supplier agreements, and coordinate supplier corrective action requests to resolve quality issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree/vocational education in engineering science, supply chain management, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent.
•Preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering science, supply chain management, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
•4 years of experience.
•Supplier Quality Management and quality management procedures/methodologies.
•Experience using supplier evaluation and data analysis/interpretation to drive continuous improvement.
