Key Responsibilities

  • •Invent, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to mitigate business risks across TikTok products and platforms.
  • •Build prototypes, define and run experiments to validate or reject hypotheses, and communicate insights and recommendations to product and tech teams.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams across science, engineering, and business to improve automation processes.
  • •Develop data querying infrastructure for offline and online analysis to uncover attack behavior and identify weaknesses and opportunities in risk defenses.
  • •Define risk control measurements, quantify and monitor business/operational risk metrics, and maintain technical documentation with effective communication through writing and visualizations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or other relevant STEM fields.
  • •4+ years building and delivering machine learning models for large-scale projects.
  • •Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
  • •Experience developing models and visualizations using Scala, Python, R, Ruby, and/or Matlab.
  • •Experience with forecasting, machine learning, and statistical tools, and communicating results, plans, and risks clearly.
