Key Responsibilities

  • •Own renewals with a live register of material agreements, notice periods, and sufficient lead time for a real process.
  • •Set negotiation strategy and walk-away position, then negotiate directly with vendor deal desks.
  • •Monitor usage against commitments, track consumption and seat utilization, and flag overage exposure early.
  • •Implement spend controls, including stop-gaps across material vendors to limit over-consumption risk and improve cost savings.
  • •Rationalise tools and licences by identifying duplicates or unused licences, and build budget/forecast with variance and savings reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in software procurement, vendor management, or IT sourcing in a fast-growing SaaS/tech business.
  • •Track record negotiating enterprise software agreements directly with vendor deal desks, including setting and holding a walk-away position.
  • •Commercial acumen with comfort reading contracts, usage-based pricing models, and consumption data to identify risk early.
  • •Experience building and maintaining a software/vendor register covering renewals, notice periods, license counts, and utilization at scale.
  • •Solid financial literacy to build budget lines, track actuals vs forecast, and report variance to Finance.
