Key Responsibilities

  • •Help Intel customers design and debug board power delivery for Intel Core/Atom-based platforms.
  • •Perform power delivery design work including power budgeting, power integrity practices, and PDN analysis.
  • •Review complex digital and analog circuits layout and support multi-layer PCB power delivery rail design (including IMVP rails).
  • •Conduct board power-on and debugging using lab tools, analyze results, triage failures, and develop corrective actions.
  • •Provide technical customer support for power delivery design questions, board bring-up, and on-site design reviews/training activities.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • •7–12 years of industry experience, preferably 5–6 years designing and debugging hardware boards with a power delivery focus for Intel Core/Atom CPUs.
  • •Deep understanding of system power delivery requirements and Intel Core/Atom power delivery guidelines (including IMVP specs) with PDN analysis experience.
  • •Extensive experience designing power delivery networks (buck, boost, multi-phase) including control-loop understanding and high-current/low-voltage power delivery design.
  • •Proficiency with schematic and layout/design tools (Cadence OrCAD, Mentor Graphics xPedition, Altium Designer) and hands-on lab debugging (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, electronic load).
